Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College , Bidar has organized an induction program to B.E. 1ST Year students on 09th August 2019 at Main Auditorium of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar campus. The program was inaugurated by Shri Mahantesh Belagi, IAS , CEO Zilla Panchayat Bidar , Govt. of Karnataka. Dr. S. Balbir President, SNJSF and Chairman GND Engg. Bidar presided the function.
In his inaugural and motivating speech he said one should go beyond knowledge and acquire wisdom by quotating some examples. He also said if one has humility and hunger for learning & hard work can achieve any position in their life, he went on to say that every one has an unique qualities which has to be identified and nurtured above all one should develop concern for society and love for the nation. He emphasized on when the students finished their degree they should acquire such qualities and skills that every prospective employer should come forward to recruit them.
He quoated some examples through his experience as an IAS officer. His speech was thunderously applauded by the gathering.
Speaking on the occasion Vice Chairperson Guru Nanak Group Institution Smt. Reshma Kaur advised the students to take maximum benefit of all the training programs in technical and personality development aspect provided by the management. She emphasized on to go on extra mile to acquire knowledge and wisdom which eventually help the students to get a job in a Multi National Companies.
The Director (Academics) Col. Dr. B.S.Dhaliwal highlighted importance of academics and said the college is going for NBA as per Washington Accord and urged the students to maintain good health and said “Sound Mind Resides in Healthy Body”
The College Principal Dr. Ravindra V. Eklarker upraised the students by college and university rules and regulation he also explained the students about out come based education system. He urged the students to concentrate on studies more and use less smart phones.
Prof. Rajsekhar Gaithond brief the central facilities of the college. Sardar Jagtar Sing Administrator, Heads of varies departments , first year students , parents wer e present on the occasion.
Prof. Shilpa Kodge has presented vote of thanks to all dignitaries , students and parents
