Inaugurated Virtual Lab at 2nd floor Electrical Science Block GNDEC Bidar and, also organised a workshop on "Virtual-Labs" conducted by NITK Surathkal.
The Virtual-Labs is an Initiative of MHRD under the National Mission on Education through ICT .
The chief guest of the function Smt.Jasmineet Kaur Training Head GNDEC inaugurated the Virtual Labs along with resource person Mr.Shivashanker Hiremath Research fellow at NIT Surathkal .
The program was chaired by Dr. Ravindra Eklarkar Principal GNDEC , Prof. Umakshanker Nodal Coordinator VLab Civil Dept. The session was attended by Hod and staff members of various Dept. The chief guest of the function expressed deep satisfaction for dream coming true of establishing Virtual Labs in GNDEC Campus.
Hands-on sessions was conducted to all faculties how to make use of facilities available on virtual lab link http://www.vlab.co.in/
The objective's of establishing virtual labs are:
1. To provide remote-access to Labs in various disciplines of Science and Engineering. These Virtual Labs would cater to students at the undergraduate level, post graduate level as well as to research scholars.
2. To enthuse students to conduct experiments by arousing their curiosity. This would help them in learning basic and advanced concepts through remote experimentation.
3. To provide a complete Learning Management System around the Virtual Labs where the students can avail the various tools for learning, including additional web-resources, video-lectures, animated demonstrations and self evaluation.
4. To share costly equipment and resources, which are otherwise available to limited number of users due to constraints on time and geographical distances.

    biotech companies have been acquired ... demand for lab space within or nearby life sciences ... not incurred until a lease with a life sciences.Another example of a Biotech Lab project we worked on involved converting an office space into a Biotech Lab which included fume hoods and coolers.
