 [ 26-03-2025 ] Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) and Information Sharing and Analysis Centre India (ISAC-India) Forge Strategic Partnership to Enhance Cybersecurity Education and Expertise Bidar, [Date] – Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) Bidar, in a landmark ceremony, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Information Sharing and Analysis Centre India (ISAC-India) today, marking a significant step towards strengthening cybersecurity education and expertise in the region. 

The MoU aims to establish a collaborative framework between GNDEC and ISAC-India, focusing on knowledge sharing, training programs, research and development, and internship opportunities for students, particularly those in the Cybersecurity Department. This partnership will provide students with invaluable practical experience and exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to India's digital security infrastructure. 

The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Reshma Kaur Madam, Vice-Chairperson of GNDEC Bidar, who served as the Chief Guest. Mr. Pradeep Gunti (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Bidar, attended as the Guest of Honour, emphasizing the critical role of cybersecurity in law enforcement and public safety. Other distinguished guests included Group Captain P.A. Naidu, Director of ISAC-India, DYSP S.N. Sanadi, Col. R.D. Singh, Administrator of GNDEC Bidar, Dr. Dhananjay M, Principal of GNDEC Bidar, Prof. Jasmineet Kaur, Dean of GNIPU, and Dr. Harish Joshi, Head of the Cybersecurity Department.

 During the ceremony, Dr. Reshma Kaur Madam highlighted the importance of this collaboration in addressing the growing need for skilled cybersecurity professionals. She emphasized GNDEC's commitment to providing students with industry-relevant education and fostering innovation in the field.

 Mr. Pradeep Gunti (IPS) stressed the increasing sophistication of cyber threats and the necessity for robust cybersecurity measures to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive information. He lauded the partnership between GNDEC and ISAC-India as a crucial step towards building a secure digital ecosystem. 

Group Captain P.A. Naidu expressed ISAC-India's enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it will facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices, ultimately strengthening India's cybersecurity capabilities. 

In addition to the MoU signing, the ceremony also served as an occasion to felicitate the top-performing students of the Cybersecurity Department who achieved outstanding ranks in the university examinations. Their academic excellence underscores the department's commitment to nurturing talent and producing highly skilled cybersecurity professionals. 

The partnership between GNDEC and ISAC-India is expected to create a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, benefiting students, faculty, and the wider community
